Kontoret – Privacy Policy

"Kontoret" is a private, internal software tool operated by Mohamed Saleh Bader (Sorali). It is used only by its owner to manage the owner's own YouTube channels, Untold Shadows (@untoldshadows1-s) and حكايات الظل (@hikayat.althil). It is not offered to the public.
Use of YouTube API Services
Kontoret uses the YouTube API Services. By using Kontoret you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
What information we access and why
- Basic channel information (channel ID, title, handle) to identify which of the owner's channels is being managed.
- The channel's own videos and their metadata (titles, descriptions, tags, privacy status) and statistics (views, likes, comments, subscribers), to analyse performance.
- Permission to upload videos and update titles, descriptions and tags on the owner's own channels.
Kontoret does not access, collect or store data about other YouTube users or channels' private data.
How information is stored
OAuth tokens and a log of changes made are stored only on the owner's own computer, protected by file permissions. No data is sold, rented or shared with third parties. Kontoret does not use cookies and does not place any cookies or tracking technology on users' devices.
Data retention and deletion
Data obtained through the YouTube API Services is kept only as long as needed to manage the channels and statistics are refreshed at least every 30 days. You can revoke Kontoret's access at any time through the Google security settings page. When access is revoked, all stored tokens and data obtained through the YouTube API Services are deleted within 7 days.
